Meaning and use
4.1 This practice is intended to simulate the ability of a coating system applied to masonry blocks to withstand a continuous spray of water (rain) and a dynamic pressure equivalent to a wind speed of 98 mph, without exhibiting leakage or weight gain, or both.

1.1 This practice is used to assess the ability of paint to resist water passing through masonry blocks when exposed to spray and air pressure.
