5.1 The test method determines the coverage of the test coating by visually evaluating the sprayed coating.
Примечание 1 Test method D2805 describes an instrumental method for determining coverage. Apply the film to a uniform thickness (например. with a scraper), measure the film thickness strictly, and determine the opacity by photometry. Thus the concealment force can be determined with high precision.
5.2 Test method D6762 is not as accurate as test method D2805, but it is widely used because it is closely related to the application characteristics of paints and is simpler in terms of concept and evaluation.
