ISO (Internationale Organisatie voor Standaardisatie) is een mondiale federatie van nationale normalisatie-instellingen (ISO-leden). De ontwikkeling van internationale normen wordt meestal uitgevoerd door technische ISO-commissies. Each member group interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on the Committee. Internationale organisaties, governments and non-governmental organizations in contact with ISO are also involved in this work. ISO werkt nauw samen met de Internationale Elektrotechnische Commissie (IEC) over alle kwesties van elektrische standaardisatie.
The draft international standard adopted by the Technical Committee will be circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an international standard requires approval by a vote of at least 75% of the member bodies.
The international standard ISO 498 is ontwikkeld door de Technische Commissie ISO/TC 45, Rubber and Rubber Products, Subcommissie SC 3, Raw Materials for the rubber industry (including latex).
The second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 498:1974), which constitutes a minor technical revision.
ISO 498-1992 “Preparation of natural latex concentrated liquid dry film”
1 Scope of Application
This international standard specifies a method for preparing dry, uniform, substantially bubble-free films from natural latex concentrates.
This procedure does not necessarily apply to latex of natural origin other than rubber latex or to artificial dispersions of composite latex, vulcanized latex or rubber or synthetic rubber latex.
