Einführung
ISO (Internationale Standardisierungsorganisation) ist eine globale Allianz nationaler Normungsgremien (ISO-Mitgliedsorganisationen). This document specifies methods for specifying decorative and protective organic coatings on aluminum and its alloys. It defines the characteristic properties of organic liquid coatings and provides a test method with minimum performance requirements, with reference to the application and erosion of the environment in which the painted aluminum is applied.
This document applies to aluminum products with liquid coatings for general use, as well as liquid coatings processed primarily by electrostatic liquid spraying, air spraying or airless spraying.
This document does not apply to aluminum coil coatings.
